Our Riding Club members enjoy a full day at the barn giving them lots of time with the horses. An extended Group Lesson starts the day with horses being assigned to the riders. They are responsible to groom and tack their horses in preparation for the lesson. Being an equestrian teaches tenacity and responsibility and is excellent to improve self esteem. The group lesson is a great experience for riders to learn how to maneuver around the ring with 10 other horses sometimes going at a different gait. It takes quick thinking and great team work with your horse. Riding Club day is not all serious as they may jump on bareback and ride around the farm after the lesson or go on a trail ride throughout our beautiful fifty acres. As owner of Golden Isles Riding Academy the fun, laughing and building friendships is my favorite part of the day. I think horses teach way more than just how to ride and I get to enjoy seeing these students grow and learn. Ask about our Riding Club and it’s benefits. Listed below are the barn days.
Barn Days are held the first Saturday of every month. If a horse show or holiday falls on the first Saturday of the month it will be held the next available Saturday.
Barn day dates are also subject to change. Keep in touch with Ms. Kelli or Ms. Trini for any changes.
